Remote Tech Support

JahnsTek uses a program called Real VNC to perform tech support remotely. Real VNC allows us to take remote control of your PC to provide basic tech support just as we if we were sitting in front of your computer.

To install Real VNC follow the following directions:
1. Click this Download Real VNC link.
2. Click "Run"
3. The file downloads
4. Click "Run"
5. Click "Next"
6. Click the "I accept the agreement" radio button and click "Next"
7. Click "Next"
8. Uncheck the "VNC Viewer" check box and click "Next"
9. Click "Next"
10. Click "Next"
11. Click "Next"
12. Click on the "Configure" button
13. Type in the password given to you or enter your own, and then click "OK"
14. Click "OK"
15. Click "Next"
16. Click "Finish"
17. In the bottom right hand corner of your screen you now see a new icon in your task manager.
