JahnsTek, LLC and you, the Client, agree that the following terms and conditions will govern any order for hardware, software, or JahnsTek service(s). All clients are subject to the payment conditions and all other conditions as stated herein. JahnsTek, LLC has the right to modify these terms & conditions at any time without notice. The current terms & conditions will always be posted on https://www.jahnstek.com/.
Pricing – Standard Labor
JahnsTek, LLC charges an hourly labor rate of $79.00 per hour for all services provided outside the scope of a package. All services, either performed at client site (on-site) or carry-in/pick-up service (in-house), carry a one (1) hour minimum labor charge. Service is then billed in 15-minute increments thereafter. Telephone support and remote support (Internet support) is billed in 15-minute increments. Labor rate does not include sales tax (see Taxes section below).
Pricing – Travel Charge
All services performed at client site (on-site) will incur an additional travel charge of $20.00 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments, which begins at start of travel and ends at arrival to client site. Their is no change for the return travel.
Pricing – Website Creation/Design
Website Creation/Design services are provided as one of three packages. Each package is based on the size of the website and included features. Each package cost is a flat-cost, billed via invoice provided to client (see Payment Terms section below). Website Creation/Design services are not subject to sales tax (see Taxes section below). - The “Brochure/Personal” package includes up to 6 pages and costs $675.00.
- The “Business” package includes up to 14 pages and costs $1,275.00.
- The “Business Plus” package includes 15 or more pages and costs $1,875.00.
At least half (50%) of the package cost (non-refundable) is required to be paid via provided invoice before any creation/design work will begin. Remaining half (100%) of the package cost is required to be paid via provided invoice before website is presented publicly on the Internet. A Hosting and Maintenance package subscription is required before “go-live” of any website (see Pricing – Website Hosting & Maintenance section below). All websites, including design and likeness to a client or client’s business, created by JahnsTek, LLC may be used by JahnsTek, LLC for marketing purposes, except where prohibited by copyright law. Custom website template/theme products and extension/plugin products are not included in packages and will be billed at-cost if required.
Pricing – Website Hosting & Maintenance
Website Hosting & Maintenance services are provided as one of three subscription packages. At least one subscription package is required before “go-live” of any website. Each subscription package is based on the included services provided as part of each subscription package. Each subscription package cost is an annual subscription or monthly subscription, billed via invoice provided to client (see Payment Terms section below). Subscription can be canceled at any time. Services provided as part of the subscription package will remain in effect until the currently active subscription period expires. Website Hosting & Maintenance services are not subject to sales tax (see Taxes section below). The included services of each subscription package are documented at https://www.jahnstek.com/pricing/.
- The “Basic” subscription package includes 1 hour of standard labor each month and costs $348.00 per year ($29/month) if billed annually or $35.00 per month if billed monthly.
- The “Extended” subscription package includes 2 hours of standard labor each month and costs $648.00 per year ($54/month) if billed annually or $65.00 per month if billed monthly.
- The “Advanced” subscription package includes 4 hours of standard labor each month and costs $1068.00 per year ($89/month) if billed annually or $115.00 per month if billed monthly.
Full payment is required before the (monthly or yearly) subscription begins. Optional third-party hosting subscription(s) can be managed by JahnsTek, LLC but are not included in subscription packages and will be billed at-cost if required.
Pricing – Hardware/Software/Other Products
All products sold are subject to sales tax and are billed to the client in addition to any applicable labor or package charges as outlined above.
All invoices must be paid within 30 days of the date of invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing by JahnsTek, LLC. Payment by Direct Bank Payment (ACH), MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Cash, Check, Cashier’s Check, or Money Order is accepted for payment. Invoices are required for all hardware, software, or JahnsTek service purchase(s). Invoices will be provided to client via email (default) or US Mail (by request). If invoices are not accepted by the client, then the client must provide payment on delivery of product(s) or completion of service(s). All returned checks are subject to a $30.00 fee.
Any invoice with an outstanding balance beyond the 30 day payment requirement, is subject to a 5% ($5.00 minimum) monthly finance charge of the unpaid balance. Only payment by Cashier’s Check or Money Order will be accepted for late payment(s). Delinquent accounts may be subject to credit hold or further collection proceedings, which may include repossession of goods.
Pricing does not include sales or other taxes imposed on the sale of goods. Wisconsin State and Dane County sales tax of 5.5% will be added to all product, package, and labor prices as allowed by law. Sales tax is not imposed on labor or packages that directly involve the support, creation, design, hosting, or maintenance of a website or web application. The client agrees to be responsible for all sales taxes imposed, or provide JahnsTek, LLC with a valid tax exemption certificate.
All sales are final. In special instances, JahnsTek, LLC, in its sole discretion, may agree to replace, repair, or refund the purchase price of a product/service. A 15% restocking fee may be assessed for returned products. Software cannot be returned or refunded.
All software products sold by JahnsTek, LLC are manufactured by a third party, protected by copyright, and are subject to the third party’s license and/or associated terms, conditions, and/or warranties. Client agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions stated in the license provided with the software vendor. Any defects in software do not give rise to liability on the part of JahnsTek, LLC.
JahnsTek, LLC does not provide any warranty for products sold or services provided. Only original equipment manufacturer warranties (if applicable) apply. JahnsTek, LLC cannot guarantee the results or effectiveness of any of the services rendered or to be rendered. Rather, services shall be executed in a professional manner and in accordance with good industry practice. Best efforts will be used but no results are promised.

JahnsTek, LLC is not liable for any losses or damages; whether indirect, incidental, special, or consequential; in profits, data, goods or services; irrespective of whether or not advised, or otherwise might have anticipated, the possibility of such loss or damage.
